Leftover Turkey Wraps

These California wraps are a low-cal and healthy way to use up leftover turkey.

Leftover Turkey WrapsIt’s always a challenge finding fresh ways to enliven leftovers. This low-cal recipe will be sure to trick your tastebuds into thinking it’s not turkey again.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • ½ cup diced turkey
  • 1 tsp Club House Indian Masala spice
  • 1 whole wheat pita pocket
  • 1 tsp hummus
  • ½ tomato, sliced
  • 3 or 4 slices avocado
  • 2 lettuce leaves
  • A sprinkle of hot sauce

Preparation

  1. Heat the oil in a skillet on medium-high heat.
  2. Fry the onion until transparent.
  3. Add the turkey and sprinkle on the spice and sautee for about a minute.
  4. Spread the hummus on the pita pocket.
  5. Add the turkey mixture.
  6. Sprinkle with hot sauce.
  7. Top with sliced tomato, avocado and lettuce.

Serves 1.
