Who doesn’t love French fries? I must admit, they are my weakness. I am a carb junkie, or rather, I could be if I wasn’t so disciplined!

Spicy french friesBut you know, life is too short to deprive yourself of the things you love, so I came up with this recipe that incorporates sesame oil, which has both Omega-3 and Omega-6. In fact, one tablespoon contains 40.5 mg of Omega-3 and 5,576 mg of Omega-6. So, what are you waiting for?

Guilt-Free Cajun Fries

  • 1 smallish medium potato
  • Sesame seed oil
  • Cajun spice

Preparation

Wash, peel and slice the potato into chip sticks. Place them on a grill pan and brush with sesame seed oil. Sprinkle with Cajun spice and place under a hot grill. Cook for about 5 minutes before turning. If you like your food really spicy, make sure to sprinkle the underside with Cajun spice once you’ve turned them over at the halfway mark. Grill for another 5 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve and enjoy the spicy, crispy, carb goodness. My mouth is watering…gotta go fix me some fries!
