There may not be any other Olympic event more intense or dangerous than the Skeleton. It is the luge except you blast down the track going head first. As if leading with your feet first wasn’t risky enough.

One woman makes this sport somehow even more exhilarating to watch – Mellisa Hollingsworth is a Canadian athlete that not only excels at this very unforgiving sport, but her stunning good looks are enough to intimidate just about anyone.

In 2006, Hollingsworth earned herself a bronze medal in the Turin Winter Olympics and was anticipated to be one of the top competitors in this year’s winter games. Although she ran a personal best time during the final run of the skeleton competition, she ended up in fifth place. Nonetheless, Hollingsworth will be remembered as not only one of the most distinguished Skeleton athletes, but quite possibly the sexiest.
